Welcome to WanLing's Space...November 12 LOST!!!! Hey.. it's been a while that i had updated my blog... just being too lazy to update.. Nothing much happen to me for the past few months... just stay at home and become a useless person... I graduated this year and had my graduation on the 12th of September 2008. My dad and one of my sisters came to uk to attend my graduation ceremony.. it would be better if my mom could came.. but its okay.. i brought my dad around UK and finally brought him to Manchester United Stadium which he watched it on TV all the time... hehe.. hope he like it... life is just so boring.. staying at home everyday.. the economy now is really bad now.. hard to get a job now.. why?? why must all this happen on the year i graduate?? haih~~ that's the only thing i can say... staying at home the whole time make me think a lot... something in my mind which i don't think i would ever share it to anyone in my life.. its just something i really think I should do at the very beginning so that I won't end up becoming a person like me now... Did I make a wrong choice?? Am I lost?? What should I do??? Brave?? Coward?? Stick to the status quo?? Regret?? ?????? so many questions.. what should I do??? whatever?? life just sucks now... Overall.. WANLING, you sucks now.. WANLING is lost now.. searching for a brighter future.. Looking for freedom and looking for something that she really wants.. PLEASE give WANLING STRENGTH and all the POWER.. PRAY FOR ME... June 27 Yo! It's HOLIDAY!!!Hey, I know I had been slacking a lot recently.. sorry for being so lazy to upload this blog.. Actually, I had finished my exams like 1 month ago but then I'm just too lazy.. hehe.. By the way, I went for a vacation after my exam. I went to Ibiza Island in Spain, Milan (Italy) and Amsterdam (Holland). It was a great trip and had great fun in the trip. It was a 10 days trip. I went with 3 of my friends.First, we spent 4 nights 5 days in Ibiza Island. Haha..
Going to beaches in western countries are different from going to
beaches in eastern countries. I was shocked when I first saw ladies
without their tops or even bra walking around the beach. By the way,
it's very common for western people, just have to get to use it. LOL.
The sunset in Ibiza Island is so beautiful. Ibiza island is said to
have one of the world best Beach Bar (Bora Bora Beach Bar), a place to
chill out with beautiful sunset view (Cafe Del Mar) and clubs such as
Space and PACHA.
Next, we spent 2 nights and 3days in Milan. OMG.. Milan is such a
fashion city and shopping paradise. Too bad I didn't have that much of
money to shop around Milan. I will save from now on and will visit
Milan again just for shopping.. ahaha.. Milan!!! I'll Be Back.. LOL..
Last stop, AMSTERDAM. Wow.. another nice and good place.. It had great place to shop around as well.. Actually, I would prefer to shop around Amsterdam compare to Milan. Amsterdam is really a beautiful city with tourists all over the place.. wahaha.. Besides that, Amsterdam also has something that is not legal in all other countries in this world. This is another thing that made Amsterdam a great place.. Places such as Red Light District, WindMill etc. etc. are just too cool to visit them again. Tried so many new things in amsterdam.. Haha.. Finally, after those trips, I'm back in my hostel which is located in a small town, Lincoln (UK). It's such a boring place. I have no choice but to continue staying here it's because I had paid my rent for it. It will be a waste if I leave this place before the due date of my rent. 1 more month to go, then I'm going to move to a bigger city. Hooray!!! At this moment, I'm trying to look for a part time job while waiting for my results. Pray hard that I could pass all my exams then I'm FREE from school. Although, I don't want to leave school so soon but when the time has come, I'll still have to face it. Alright, I think that's all from me. Will try to be more hardworking in the future so that this blog is always updated with my recent news. Hehe.. *poof* February 17 Gong Xi Fa Cai!! GONG XI FA CAI...!!! Hey, Happy Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) to all my lovely family and friends back in Malaysia and also in any part of the world. This is the first time I'm not celebrating Chinese New Year with my family.. Miss them so much.. Luckily, there are still some friends here who I can celebrate with. I went to Bristol, UK to celebrate it with Esther, Aletheia , Jefferson and friends from Flat 101.. Haha.. It was really FUN. Thanks all of them from Flat 101 for celebrating it with me. Thanks for all the nice food in the Reunion Dinner and Esther for bringing me around. Hehe.. Really feel so warm.. Love you all.. Anyway, when you visit Flat 101, pls be prepared to drink drink drink and go crazy, talk whole night and have sleepless night. Haha.. Not saying that it's bad. It's really FUN.. That's what life should be.. Haha.. Happy Chinese New Year.. It's a brand new year.. Hopefully, this year I'm always happy and enjoying life.. Whatever problems will be overcome easily and no worries. Am I asking too much? No!! haha.. Besides that, I also wish that I could experienced something new like last year (travel to UK alone). Haha.. A New Year full of HAPPINESS, ADVENTURE, JOY and SUCCESSFULNESS... Haha.. Wish that everyone around me will be the same also. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR. GONG XI FA CAI. Anyway, yesterday I just cut my front hair myself.. and it wasn't that successful because it was too short.. Look like..?? I also don't know what can I compare it with.. Anyway, I think I look cuter and younger now.. Haha... January 21 BACK Again.. FESTIVALs... Huh!! you must be wondering why I post another one again.. I think it's because I felt a bit bad for not posting here for so long so I decided to post another one again... Please don't be surprise if I post another one again after this.. Haha.. Anyway, the one before this I had told you what am I doing for the past 2 months.. This one would be something different... Hmm... Last year was the first time I celebrate Halloween, Christmas and New Year in UK. It's a totally different and new experience compare to Malaysia. I could never had such experience in Malaysia, erm... maybe I could.. Haha.. 1) Halloween It's so great here for Halloween . I went out to have a drink with some of my friends from Europe. While I was on my way to meet them, I saw lots of 'GHOST' walking on the street. For some reason, I felt a bit scare seeing them walking on the streets. They really looks like GHOST. All kind of ghost such as Vampire, Mummies, and others, I don't remember. There are too many but too bad no asian ghost like JIANG SHI, those ghost that can jump around one(dunno what u call in english). Maybe next year I could act like one so that ppl here will know the typical chinese ghost.. Haha... Besides, ghost there are also ANGELS of any sizes (FAT, THIN, TALL, SHORT etc.), spiderman, superman and and others. It's just so fun seeing them walking around. 2) Christmas Christmas here is just like Chinese New Year for chinese in Malaysia. Christmas is when every family members gather around and have a big Chistmas Dinner. In stead of giving 'ang pau' , people will exchange their presents. Got my very first christmas present from my FLATMATES, eventhough it's not something great but just happy to get that. And I had 3 Christmas dinner with 3 different group of people. Haha.. It's great. First one was with my FLATMATES. They cook some tradition english food such as a BIG chicken (no turkey because it's a bit expensive), yorkshire pudding, roast potato, mashed porato, and others. And you will have something special before u start, it's the Cracker..(dunno how to explain it here). Anyway, the 2nd one with 2 of my asian friends here and a friend of them who is from Germany. Haha.. This time we had Chicken with pepper sauce, something like that, dont really remember what it's call. The 3rd one is with a English family. Actually not really English family maybe half. Haha. It's because the wife is Malaysian(Indian) married to an English man. They have 2 adorable kids and one 8 weeks old baby. It's nice meeting them. 3) New Year Boring.. Didn't do anything here.. Stay at home and do assignments lor.. Sienzzzz.. But can see fireworks from my room even though I don't really like fireworks. What's so nice about fireworks??? It's almost the same every year.. Haha This is the special festival that I experienced in UK. Haha.. What u think? Interesting? Boring? haha.. Where have I been?? Where have I been?? It's more than 2 months that I did not post anything in my blog.. Thanks to Ranald for reminding me about my blog. Haha.. I'm a bit busy with my work for the past 2 months. Actually, not really that busy just that I'm so lazy to pop in here and leave something here in my blog. Before that, I had 4 assignments and 1 presentation to due at the 1st week of JAN 2008. It's so tiring working at so many assignments at a time. However, I managed to deal with them and hand in all in time. Hope I can get good results for them even though I admit that I did not put all my effort on it. Haha. GREEDY WanLing... Anyway, I got a part time job here in UK. It's my first time working in my entire life ever since I was born. It's not something great to talk about but it's a good experience. I know you would ask What am I working as?? Haha.. I'm working as a part time cleaner in an office. SURPRISE?? Doing work like wipe the tables, telephone & chairs, and vacuum the carpet but luckily not cleaning the toilet. For ppl like me who never even clean the house or even my small room, working as CLEANER, it's just something unbelievable. Now, I know how tired for a maid to clean a house. Actually, I just wanted to get some money and don't want to work for long hours a day. So, I think cleaner is the best choice. I work only 2.5 hours a day and five days a week. It's kinda free ho.. Anyway, just want to tell that this is my 1st job in my entire life and it is a cleaning job.. Haha.. WanLing is accepting different challenges ever since she reached UK. |
